  • Pre-overhaul performance monitoring

    Analyze parameters at idle & loads; review safety cut-outs/alarms; note load limitations; recommend rectifications & process.

  • External condition assessment

    Check defective gauges, leakages, missing components/sensors; carry out rectification.

  • Dismantling & internal condition assessment

    Assess internal condition of static/dynamic parts (fresh hygiene); address defects.

  • Cleaning & DPT

    Identify thermal cracks, fatigue, stress cracks, and minor surface defects.

  • Calibration

    Calibrate all parts; log reports with max permissible limits; submit in Maker’s format.

  • Bearing inspection, survey & renewal

    Withdraw, inspect, analyze wear; renew if needed; as per class standards.

  • Gears inspection

    Inspect mating surfaces; DPT to analyze stress, fatigue, cracks, etc

  • Camshaft inspection & analysis

    Inspect thoroughly; do causative analysis; rectify/renew camshaft if required.

  • Fuel pump & cam followers condition

    Overhaul/renewal; adjust injection timing; DPT followers; renew seals (to prevent camshaft damage/oil leakage).

  • Clocking/alignment/deflection analysis

    Pre & post-overhaul crankshaft deflection with in-depth study; clock journals; recommend actions if distortion suspected.

  • Crankshaft renewal

    Identify suitable crankshaft; full parameter checks incl. journal hardness; rigging plan; lift entablature; replace crankshaft.
